MindsLib

Private knowledge library

Your library on the web.
Organized. Encrypted. Yours.

MindsLib is a place to manage knowledge — notes, folders, and structured work — with a tiny shell that stays fast and a key that never leaves your browser. Open your library subdomain, unlock, and build a private library you control. Not a social profile. Not a public clip pile.

Your library lives at {you}.mindslib.com

Four promises

01

Fast

Open the library and work immediately. Tiny shell first; heavier tools load only when you need them.

02

Dead simple

One subdomain + one secret key. Isolated library, end-to-end encrypted. No email circus to start.

03

Simple but powerful

Organize with folders and notes today. A typed library of mini-apps tomorrow — text, sheets, plans, media — same tree.

04

Yours to move

Export and import first. Share later is an explicit publish to the Hub — not a hole in the private library.

How it works

  1. Your place Open you.mindslib.com — that host is your library identity and boundary.
  2. Verify cue A phrase and image you chose show first, so you can spot lookalike sites.
  3. Unlock One encryption key field. Keys are derived in the browser; the server stays a blind store.
  4. Organize Build a tree of folders and notes. Titles and bodies leave the browser as ciphertext.

Private by design

  • Client-side encryption (AES-GCM) for note titles and content
  • Password → master key on your device; never sent as a server decrypt capability
  • Public verify cue is not secret — so the real host can show it before you type the key
  • Share (when it ships) is a deliberate copy to the Hub, not multi-ACL on vault blobs

If you lose the key (and have no export), the content cannot be recovered from the server. That is the cost of a blind store — and the point.

A library for knowledge you mean to keep
